Donald Clay from John Curtis High School, LA belongs in any discussion about the best cornerback prospect in Louisiana. With his size and ability to play sound man to man coverage is something every scout would love to have. He was one of the Top DB’s at SPE Elite Camp 2016 and will look to make a impact in 2018. The New Orleans, product dominates at the position and is being recruited accordingly with offers from Louisiana Tech, Marshall, UTSA, Ball St. and a few more. He is a player to watch this season.
Gregory Brooks Jr. is a lock down cover corner in the state of Louisiana’s 2019 class. He has impressive quickness threw out his backpedal to go along with a burst out of his breaks. He has great ball skills and plays with great awareness. Brooks is the type of corner that will go toe to toe with receivers despite his size. He has offers from UAB, ULM, Marshall, Kansas, LA Tech.
Tyruss Gayden is a player that just keeps getting better with each rep. He is a hard working young man that is looking to have a breakout season at the corner spot this season. TG3 looks to put WR on notice this year with his ability to match up with WR of any size. He plays off very well and displays the ability to play man to man. He currently holds offer from LA Tech.
Wideouts from California that look to light up SPE Elite Camp 2018.
Josh Delgado from St. John Bosco, CA has excellent route-running ability and he is very underrated with his elusiveness. He has a very strong frame and has the build make him a number one receiving prospect in class of 2019. With his versatility he will be a immediate asset to any college offense. He has offers from ASU, UCLA, Colorado, Utah, to name a few.
Gary Bryant he 5’10, 170 lb receiver out of Corona Centennial High School, CA is electric. Bryant has the ability to stop on a dime, change direction and quickly get back up to speed in the blink of an eye. His running style (plus his stature) reminds me of Oregon Duck great and NFL stud Desan Jackson. On deep balls he showcases pretty good vertical and body control to make plays on the ball. He has offers from ASU, BYU, UCLA, Oregon, Utah, UW.
Jaden Navarrette a product of WCA is a big strong, physical receiver from Corona High School, CA who likes to use his size to his advantage. He is better than expected in open field, and very hard to bring down at times. When match up with smaller defenders they bounce off him and he keeps his legs moving, fights for extra yards. Has the ability to beat press coverage off the line with multiple moves, using both hands and quickness. He has offers from USC, Michigan, Ohio St., UCLA, UW, Oregon, ASU.
Lavon Bunkley-Shelton is a player who stock that has been on the rise this off season. He plays for Junipero Serra HS, CA and is one player that has the tools to get in the end zone. The route runner is very much a threat for DB’s this off-season. He has offers from BYU, Nebraska, Oregon, TCU, Utah.
